Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted liaison to cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and achieve business objectives.
  • Be a key part in the development and execution of the financial planning process, including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Working with project managers to drive accuracy of revenue forecasting.
  • Update complex financial models and run analysis on these.
  • Develop financial models where required to support decision-making within the business.
  • Analyse business performance metrics, including revenue and overheads. Identify and investigate variance between actuals and budgets/forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities within the business.
  • Conduct system data validation to ensure accuracy of reporting.  
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and business needs.
  • Minor level of other financial support duties.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance. 
  • Experience as a Financial Analyst, or similar role with focus on supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, excel, and Salesforce.com. Experience with Power BI, Intacct, and Adaptive a plus.
  • Excellent ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
